Privacy notice

This notice explains how Pet Beauty (Viktoriia Kutsenko Tmi) handles the personal data of its customers and of visitors to this website.

What data we process

• Contact details and messages: your name, phone number and email address, the messages you send by WhatsApp or email, and the call history on the salon's phone.
• Visit log: your pet's name and breed, the date and time of the visit and the price. Owners' names and contact details are not entered in this log.
• Payment data: amount, date and payment method. Card payments go through a Nets payment terminal; the salon does not see your full card number.
• Photos of pets.

We get this data from you when you contact the salon or visit it.

Why, and on what legal basis

• To agree on appointments and to groom your pet: performance of a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Without your contact details we cannot book an appointment.
• Bookkeeping: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
• Sending photos of your pet to you privately, for example by WhatsApp, without publishing them: part of the service (Article 6(1)(b)).
• Publishing photos of your pet on Instagram, Facebook or this website, or keeping them in the salon's portfolio: only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which the salon asks for in writing, for example by WhatsApp. You can withdraw your consent at any time, and the photos are then removed from the salon's website, social media accounts and portfolio, as far as they are under the salon's control.

Where the data is kept

• On the salon's phone, in WhatsApp (Meta), in Gmail (Google), in iCloud (Apple; photos), in the Briox accounting service, with the Nets card payment service, and in an Excel file kept only on the salon's own computer.
• Published photos are on Instagram and Facebook (Meta) and on this website.
• Meta, Google and Apple may also process data in the United States, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Your data is not sold and is not used for advertising.

How long the data is kept

• Accounting records, as required by the Finnish Accounting Act (kirjanpitolaki): vouchers for 6 years from the end of the year in which the financial year ended; financial statements and accounting books for 10 years from the end of the financial year.
• Contact details, messages and the visit log: 3 years after your last visit. Old data is reviewed and deleted once a year.
• Ordinary unpublished work photos: up to 3 years after your last visit. The salon's older photo archive is being reviewed, and photos older than this are being deleted step by step.
• Photos kept in the salon's portfolio: only with your consent, until you withdraw it.
• Published photos: until you ask for them to be removed or withdraw your consent.

This website

This website uses no cookies and no analytics, loads nothing from other services, and does not record visitors' IP addresses. If you click a language button, your choice is saved only in your own browser. The website is hosted on a server of Eläinklinikka Saari in Helsinki, Finland. Links to Google Maps, WhatsApp and Instagram open those services, and their own privacy policies apply there.

No automated decision-making or profiling is used.

Your rights

You have the right to know what data about you is kept, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive the data you have given in a commonly used format, and to withdraw your consent to publishing photos at any time. Write to come2groom@gmail.com.
